I obviously have nothing better to do.

Today I found a Leopard Frog.

You can see where it gets it's name....from always dressing in leopard print clothing of course!

I stopped her to take pictures and then released her quickly, so she wouldn't be late for the runway,

when I saw my little brother's toy car and thought,"Why hop when you can drive??"

Oh yeah!

And THEN I thought,"What's better than a frog driving a car???"

Wait for it.....

Wait for it......

Keep waiting.....

Patience is a virtue.....

Consecrate yourself to God.

Consecrate yourself to God in the morning; make this your very first work. Let your prayer be, "Take me, O Lord, as wholly Thine. I lay all my plans at Thy feet. Use me today in Thy service. Abide with me, and let all my work be wrought in Thee." This is a daily matter. Each morning consecrate yourself to God for that day. Surrender all your plans to Him, to be carried out or given up as His providence shall indicate. Thus day by day you may be giving your life into the hands of God, and thus your life will be molded more and more after the life of Christ.

A wayfaring turtle, a sniffing cat, a barking dog, and a beetle.

I found a turtle today! Actually my dog, Daisy found it, but I found her finding it, so I get some of the credit! Right?

I'm not sure what kind of turtle it is. I'm pretty sure it's some kind of aquatic turtle because it has webbed feet. I don't know where it came from, there is no pond or anything very close by.

 I also found this beetle...

Again I don't know what kind it is, but I think it's a stag beetle.

 

It had a pretty good sized pincher...which my nosy cat seemed to be unaware of.

And because I'm not one to withhold credit where credit is due...

Here is a picture of the heroic dog, who alerted me of the turtle by barking her head off!

Matthew 6:25-33

Christ is risen!

These lyrics were taken from Matt Maher's song "Christ is risen".  1 Corinthians 15:55-57 (ESV) says,

55 “O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?

56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let's not forget that we have the victory in Jesus, and be sure to thank Him for that!
